Abstract

As a contribution to the plenary round table in homage to Professor Ubiratan D’Ambrosio, the most distinguished aspects of his activity as a historian of science and mathematics, the originality of his programmatic proposals, and his contribution to the institutionalization and international visibility of Latinamerican studies in this field will be discussed.
