The Architecture Magazine of the University of Costa Rica, Revistarquis, is pleased to publicly present print 19, dedicated in its totality to discuss urban topics. In this occasion, and thanks to the valuable collaborations of Historian Alejandro Bonilla Castro and the Sociologist Gustavo Jiménez Barboza, which served as guest editors of this number and as the 1st Urban Studies Conferences’ organizers, held in Costa Rica in the year 2019, it contains works that abord the city from history, geography, anthropology and cultural administration. Further, we find, in the articles’ corpus, theorical and conceptualist proposals, methodological and technical reflections, several study cases and public politics analysis that, in a Centro American scale, allow us to better understand both national and regional realities. We hope this issue to be liked by the reading public of our magazine.
